Those who know me will be aware that I’m biased in favor of the Genesis Theme Framework when it comes to WordPress themes, but supposing you’re not a developer but someone fairly new to WordPress. How can you evaluate themes before buying them? Popularity is not always an indication of quality. A theme that does everything may not be the best choice when you really only want the theme to do one thing, but do it well. On WP-Tonic 095, I talk with Jonathan Denwood, John Locke, and Jackie D’Elia about what to look for if you are purchasing a WordPress theme for yourself.
