After a break for the winter holidays, the WP-Tonic Live Panel is back for a new season. Because I now have another commitment on the first Saturday of the month, I wasn’t able to join in the discussion on accessibility in Episode 155. John Locke, Jonathan Denwood, Jackie D’Elia, and Lee Jackson shared a lot of great resources in the show notes, where you can also find a complete transcript of the episode. (Jonathan was in fine form discussing the news about layoffs at Medium.)
Ever since Blab closed down, the panel has been looking for a good way to have a live show that can include viewers and answer their questions. We tried Firetalk, which changed its pricing model a few weeks after we started using it. The first several episodes of the podcast this year were recorded in Google Hangouts and broadcast to the panel page on WP-Tonic, but it looks now as though we will start using Zoom.
If you’re around on Saturday mornings at 9 AM Pacific (a time meant to accommodate our East Coast and European panelists, not to encourage people on the West Coast to watch), come join us. The best place to look for info is on the panel page on WP-Tonic.com. You can also subscribe on YouTube or iTunes and watch or listen later.
